Welcome to the
VE Day 80th Anniversary Victory Convoy 2025

2025 marks the VE DAY 80th Anniversary and following the success of convoys in 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024, we are once again embarking on a convoy to “Reflect and Celebrate” the VE Day 80th Anniversary.

We are working closely with Hampshire Police and all relevant authorities and making progress to deliver a special convoy to coincide with the 80th Anniversary of VE Day in 2025.

As in previous years, the convoy will be escorted by members of the Royal British Legion Riders Branch.

If you have not taken part in the convoy before, please note that from previous experience, we get a lot of support and encouragement along the route from the public.

Once again, we invite local communities to check the route and times of our drive through your area. Thanks in advance for your support.

The convoys started in 2017 which saw a small run of vehicles that went to the Greenham: One Hundred Years of War and Peace event. This was a large scale outdoor play set on a purpose built stage at Greeenham Common. The event celebrated 20 years of The Greenham Trust.

Spurred on by the success of this convoy, the organisers created a convoy for the D-Day 75th Anniversary in 2019.

Successful convoys followed in 2022, 2023 and 2024 to various locations.

For 2025, we have decided that the historic occasion of VE 80 will be our last. It’s the right time to stop and it brings our contribution full circle and it will be a fitting end to everything we have achieved over the last few years.

This will be the last official convoy event organised by our volunteers so we really hope you can take part and help us all to make it a special occasion in recognition of this historic occasion.

This event supports the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The event is in association with Armed Forces and veterans.

Join us on Saturday 10th for this historic event - unique to Hampshire to mark the VE Day 80th Anniversary.
